The position of the Relationship Manager at BIQH

As Relationship Manager at BIQH, you’ll play a key role in converting inbound leads into long-term clients. You’ll engage with financial institutions that have clear needs, guiding them through a structured, consultative sales process – from first contact to contract. While your focus will start with more straightforward deal cycles, the role is designed to grow with you. With guidance from our Business Director and Director of Implementations and Operations, you’ll take on increasingly complex opportunities involving larger clients, tailored solutions, and multi-stakeholder decision-making. This is an ideal position for someone who thrives in commercial conversations and is eager to develop into a B2B commercial professional.

Your tasks are diverse and include:

Relationship building (70%)

You’ll be the first commercial contact for many of our prospects – qualifying their needs, delivering tailored demos, and managing the full deal process. Most opportunities will come through our inbound marketing efforts, meaning prospects are already interested in what we offer. Your role is to help them clearly understand how BIQH can solve their challenges and guide them with confidence toward a successful solution.

As part of this, you’ll also represent BIQH at events and conferences across Europe. Whether it’s joining a client roundtable, participating in a panel discussion, or presenting our solution at an industry event – you’ll be one of the key faces of the company. You enjoy being in the spotlight, speaking with authority about our solutions, and building relationships with both prospects and partners in a live setting.

Over time, you’ll build the skills to navigate longer, consultative deal cycles and support larger, strategic opportunities – growing from strong a strong relationship-builder into a trusted commercial advisor.

Collaboration with Marketing and Implementation (20%)

You’ll work closely with our marketing and implementation teams to ensure a seamless experience for prospects and new clients. Your insights will help our marketing colleagues refine messaging and improve lead quality. After a deal is closed, you’ll coordinate the hand-off to the implementation team – making sure new clients feel supported and expectations are clearly aligned from day one.

Commercial thinking and growth (10%)

Beyond day-to-day sales execution, you’ll actively contribute to improving our commercial approach. You’ll help fine-tune our sales methodology – Identify, Connect, Explore, Advise – and provide input on how we manage pipeline stages and CRM workflows. You’ll also be closely mentored by the Business Director, ensuring that your development path is aligned with your growth into high-impact, consultative sales.

Whom are we looking for as our new Relationship Manager?

We’re looking for a commercially driven relationship-builder with a curious mind and a strong sense of ownership. You’re someone who enjoys listening, advising, and closing – with a natural flair for connecting with people and building trust quickly.

You thrive in conversations with different breeds of professionals from financial institutions and can translate their challenges into practical solutions. You know how to keep momentum in a deal process, and you're structured in your approach – without losing the human touch.

The ideal candidate brings the following experience and personal qualities:

•Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in fintech, SaaS, or a consultative selling environment. Market data experience is a big plus.

•You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree (HBO/WO level).

•Proven ability to manage the full deal cycle – from qualification to closing – with clarity and confidence.

•Strong communicator who enjoys both written and verbal communication, in both Dutch and English.

•Comfortable being the face of the company – at events, in meetings, or on stage.

•Entrepreneurial and proactive – you don't wait for leads to be perfect; you shape opportunities and guide prospects towards decision-making.

•Team-oriented and able to collaborate across functions like marketing and implementation/delivery.

•Curious and coachable – you’re ready to grow into complex, strategic sales by learning on the job.

•Experience with HubSpot or other CRM systems is a plus.

•Fulltime availability.
